After two nights of a summer tour in which they have no new album to back, Aerosmith has announced they will play the entire "Toys in the Attic" album at each of their summer concerts this year.

The band had intimated earlier this year that they would have a new album out this year, but illness and injury has left them depleted. Brad Whitford isn't even with the band due to a recent surgery. All this is no problem for the band though. When you have 40 of history behind you and an album that features classics like "Walk this Way" and "Sweet Emotion", you can easily fall back on it and tell the public that you are backing your new video game, "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith", which their publicists have done.

Cute, but is this just a desperate attempt to fill overpriced seats in a down economy?
